When people discuss the features of a garden landscape, many times the focus is on the colors, selection, and placement of flowers and decorative trees. Elements not always discussed but equally important are the stone features. In recent years, the use of stone in landscape architecture has increased to create unique outdoor spaces. No longer limited to retaining walls within gardens, clients are looking for custom fire and water features carved into stone, crafted pedestals and columns for pedestrian entryways, and large stone grottos and installations to create unique visual interest.
