Gregory Lombardi
Founding Principal

Greg is the Founding Principal at Gregory Lombardi Design, a landscape architecture firm with a national reputation for creating highly customized outdoor living spaces. Known for his exquisitely detailed and concept-driven designs, Greg’s goal is to create timeless outdoor environments that enhance the lives of his clients. After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College and a Master of Landscape Architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design, he became a registered landscape architect licensed in Massachusetts and Connecticut. His interest in community service extends to memberships in a variety of professional, environmental, animal welfare, and ecological organizations, most notably as a longstanding member of the Board of Trustees of Historic New England.

Jason Harris
Principal / Vice President

Jason initially partnered with Greg in the fall of 2000 to develop an ambitious business plan for Gregory Lombardi Design focused on a customer-intimate model of management marrying outstanding design with disciplined “best practice” principles. Recognizing the opportunity for a successful collaboration, Jason joined the firm in 2001 to manage all aspects of the business including: Client Services, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance Operations, and Project Management. Jason earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown and an MBA with concentration in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Babson College. He is co-owner with Greg of Parterre Garden Services, a company launched in 2001 to handle the after-care aspect of the landscape architecture business.

Troy Sober
Principal

Since joining Gregory Lombardi Design in 2006, Troy has focused his career on elevating the practice of residential design throughout the New England landscape. He has a special interest in creating projects that blend seamlessly with their local environments, and believes the most successful projects are the product of intense team collaboration between Clients and peer professionals. As Studio Director, Troy strives to enrich the design culture and technical capabilities of the entire office team. A member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, Troy holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from The Pennsylvania State University, and is licensed in the state of Connecticut.
