Situated 9-stories above the Boston Common, Sky Garden redefines outdoor living for the city-dweller. With 360-degree views of the skyline, the rooftop creatively provides three unique entertainment spaces for family gatherings: Sky Lawn, Sky Lounge and the Dining Terrace. Sky Lawn was created to provide a lush garden and outdoor play space not typically found in the city. Three mature Japanese Maples were hand-selected, craned onto the site and placed in custom Corten steel planters, creating natural shade for the lawn. Sky Lounge features an entertainment space that overlooks the State House and Charles River with grasses planted along the edge to screen the perimeter walls and create a natural architectural border. The Dining Terrace includes a custom kitchen brought over from Spain and seats 8-10 guests.
