Reimagining the primary entrance to City Hall as an active public gathering space, GLDI used custom granite multi-level stadium seats as a strategy to re-energize the public right-of-way along Main Street and attract pedestrians. The planting palette uses appropriate species that were carefully selected to create a calm and serene green space between the two City Hall buildings. Site amenity improvements include enhanced, universally accessible pedestrian access to City Hall, new service areas and improved site parking and lighting.
