Gregory Lombardi Design

Following the traditional detailing associated with the Arts and Crafts style, the landscape holds a sense of formality close to the home that merges into the natural landscape as you near its borders. Using local materials and wood combined with traditional detailing, the design creates different compartments throughout the estate to fashion a pictorial scene. Deliberately layered plantings provide a lush privacy screen while framing select views of the Long Island Sound. Honey locust, holly and perennials offer dimension to soften the finite edge and separate the public front from the private back of the home.
